Help Feed Our Community Through The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

Help support our local Fredericksburg community and our goal to feed the hungry through a community-wide network of partner agencies and courageous citizens. The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank will be in the parking lot of the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center handing out donated goods. If you are in need of food and essential items, please meet with the organization on February 24th, 2022, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM

About The Event

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank does its job to bring fresh produce and pantry items to less fortunate and under-served areas of our community where a large number of families have limited access to healthy food. The event will be held in the parking lot of the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center. This is where participants will hand out donated foods and goods.

Volunteeer

Unfortunately due to Covid, there will be a limited total number of volunteers in the building at any given time. This makes it very important to sign up on the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank website in advance to make sure they are aware of your arrival. Walk-In volunteers may be asked to leave and come back at another time if the maximum number of volunteers has been met. With all of that being said, if you’re healthy and willing to volunteer, please signup as soon as possible!

Donate

Many different types of items are acceptable to boring from fresh, refrigerated, and frozen items foods at the Food Bank warehouse during operating regular hours. Non-perishable items will be placed in a separate Donation DropBox during off-hours. Click the link to see the list of Donation Drop Box locations.
