How To Remove The Hard Top on Your Jeep Wrangler
Woodbridge Area Jeep Wrangler Owners Will Have No Problem Removing The Hard TopLooking for a Jeep Wrangler near Woodbridge, but concerned about dismantling the top? It may look intimidating and complicated, but removing your Jeep Wrangler hardtop is pretty simple! The only two items you will need before you attempt this is a T40 Torx Head Driver and someone to help you out!The first thing you need to do is get into the driver's seat and unscrew the rear fastener knob located on the speaker bar. Next, turn all three L-Shaped locks placed overhead to unlock the roof. Then, unclip the sun visor and pull up on the header latch to release the top. The Roof Panel can then be removed and placed to the side. You can then repeat these steps on the passenger side, noting that there is only one latch on this side.
Removing The Jeep Wrangler Hardtop is As Easy As 1,2,3...If you have a four-door jeep, this is where you use the T40 Torx Head Driver to unscrew the screws for the bar above the driver door and in the back that are keeping the hard-top on. Lastly, disconnect the rear windshield washer hose. Close the swing gate and lift the top off! There, your hardtop is off!
